The Story
Rising Star Khilte Chehre, with Centre for Sight, brought the "Vision of Inclusion" contingent to the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2025 on World Sight Day — fielding 100 blind and buddy runners in the Champions with Disability category as NGO Partner, while supporting the world's first "Classroom of Travel" for blind citizens.
Powered by RSKC and Centre for Sight, the "Vision of Inclusion" contingent brought 100 runners — blind and buddy runners — to the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2025 to mark World Sight Day.

RSKC was the NGO Partner for the marathon's Champions with Disability category. At the official press conference, RSKC's Mission Head represented Rising Star Khilte Chehre's role and brought forward the organisation's commitment to real-world inclusion for visually impaired citizens — focused on one clear belief: inclusion must move beyond conversation and become visible in public spaces.

On race day, 100 participants from the RSKC community ran together. Their participation reflected courage, preparation, trust and the power of community support. For RSKC, the marathon was not only a sporting event — it was a platform where visually impaired citizens stepped out with confidence and participated as active members of public life.

The run supported RSKC's flagship project: the world's first "Classroom of Travel" for blind citizens — a year-round programme using journeys as the curriculum.

RSKC's presence at the press conference and on the course strengthened the message that barriers are not broken by sympathy, but by access, opportunity and participation.

100 runners were not just participants in a marathon. They were 100 stories of courage, trust, preparation and the right to be seen in public life.
