From The Better India story
“It was personality development.”
“There were small difficulties, like navigating unfamiliar hotel rooms independently. But we should not depend on volunteers for everything. This trip was more than just tourism — it was personality development and leadership building. We were about 35 participants from across India. I didn’t know anybody before, and by the end, it felt like family.”
At viewpoints in Pattaya and Bangkok, volunteers described colours, distances, and architectural details.

What people say.

Jasdeep Kaur
I recently travelled to Thailand with Rising Star Khilte Chehre, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. As a visually impaired traveller, I felt supported, included, and truly cared for throughout. I even touched a tiger, a crocodile, and had a python around my neck — something I never imagined doing in my life!

Jagdish Chander
I am a professor of Political Science at Hindu College, University of Delhi, with a PhD in Disability Studies from Syracuse University. The Ayodhya trip by RSKC was truly a unique and unforgettable experience — not only historic but revolutionary. It marks a powerful movement toward self-actualization and true emancipation.

Meenakshi Chaturvedi
I've been a part of several beautiful journeys with RSKC — from Lansdowne and Mussoorie to Rishikesh, Jaipur, Pangot and Ayodhya. The volunteers not only guide us but truly help us see the world through their eyes. These trips are about living freely and stepping out of our comfort zones with confidence.

Dharmaraja Iyer
We are so pleased and happy to have RSKC taking the leadership and making sincere efforts to make dreams of the visually challenged community come true. My trips to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Thailand with them were very fruitful and enjoyable. We are proud of you.

Manisha Jadav
It was my first international trip to Thailand. You get up from the bed in the morning before us and you sleep after us. If this wonderful NGO does not exist I can't dream that I can travel alone. I am recharged, I am rejuvenated — you support us physically, mentally, socially.

Ravinder Jadhav
Well organised and completely accessible trips for visually impaired and blind people. They provide the best service and support on the journey. The only organisation which cares for blind happiness via tour. They really help to explore new places.
