The Mind Behind the Moments

Rising Star Khilte Chehre
In 2019, I met a group of visually impaired friends during a simple conversation about travel. One sentence stayed with me:
“Travel is our most unfulfilled dream.”
I did not hear it as a complaint. I heard it as a responsibility.
That moment became a promise — to stand beside visually impaired people who had the courage to dream, but were never given enough opportunities to explore the world with dignity. That promise became Rising Star Khilte Chehre.
I have always believed that food, clothing, and shelter are not enough today for this community. They also deserve the equal right to live beyond survival — to aspire, to experience joy, to travel, to be seen, to belong, and to claim all possibilities of life.
I did not start RSKC only to organise journeys. I started it so that visually impaired people could claim their place in the world with confidence, friendship, joy, and self-respect.
Over the years, I have seen hesitant first-time travellers return with laughter in their voices and courage in their hearts. I have seen families feel proud, volunteers become lifelong companions, and strangers become a community.
These journeys have taught me that inclusion is not created by sympathy. It is created when society opens its doors and walks together.
RSKC belongs to every supporter, traveller, volunteer, donor, family, and supporter who has trusted this dream. I remain deeply grateful to each one of them.
Our vision is simple: no visually impaired person should feel that travel, happiness, or the outside world is beyond their reach.
We will continue this journey with humility, faith, and responsibility — one smile, one journey, one life at a time.

Architect of the Blind Tourism Mission
I have never believed that blindness is the greatest barrier.
“The greater barrier is invisibility.”
India has a reported 80 lakh blind citizens. For too long, many have remained away from public life because systems rarely expected them to travel, learn, lead, innovate, or participate as equals.
The Blind Tourism Mission was created to change this. It is an India-first mission to position India as the global category leader in sensory-led, blind-accessible tourism — while bringing blind citizens back into public life with dignity and smile.
This mission is not only about just journeys. It is about confidence, inclusion, livelihood, innovation, public behaviour change, and national participation.
India already has the world's richest sensory heritage — sound, food, culture, spirituality, craftsmanship, nature, and human stories. Our responsibility is to design it so visually impaired people can experience it fully and lead from within it.
My vision is simple: India's blind citizens must not remain invisible. They must be seen as capable citizens, travellers, learners, entrepreneurs, innovators, leaders, and nation builders.
